Needs Analysis of Special English Learning (English for Specific Purpose) For Hospital Administration Students

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ESP English learning needs of hospital administration students. To find out these needs, a needs analysis is carried out to support the current learning process or future career. By collecting data using a questionnaire. The sample used was hospital administration students at the beginning of Awal Bros University class of 2023. The results of the research showed that the needs of hospital administration students for learning ESP English courses were very diverse so it could be concluded that they really needed English for their future careers. Therefore, it is recommended that ESP English teachers can accommodate students’ needs, as well as carry out needs analysis because ESP learning is always changing.
