The results showed that although business owners do not apply management formally, the four management functions of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling have been applied intuitively and effectively. The planning function is done pragmatically based on economic needs and market observations. The organizing function shows high flexibility with a family-based division of labor. Directing and controlling functions are carried out through a personal approach and daily evaluation of operations. This implementation has been proven to support business sustainability, both in terms of finance, operations, and customer relations. Many multinational corporations, Starbucks included, are running sustainability initiatives to improve their public image and encourage customers to do the same in the face of mounting environmental degradation. Nevertheless, there has been a dearth of research on the subject of consumer apathy and confusion about green marketing, particularly in Semarang City. This study employs in-depth interviews with customers who were chosen at random to conduct exploratory research using a qualitative technique. Thanks to Semarang's preserved cultural and ecological heritage, the Tourism Village Development in Kandri Tourism Village in particular has demonstrated promising results. Data obtained in this study were descriptive qualitative in nature, meaning they were presented in the form of words and images rather than numerical values. Sugiyono (2009) defines qualitative research as an approach to studying actual natural things that relies on the researcher as the primary agent, employs a combination of data gathering methods, employs inductive data processing, and places a greater focus on meaning than generalisation. In keeping with the 10 guidelines put out by Suansri (2003) for CBT initiatives. First, these principles have been put into practice by the Semarang City Government and Kandri village. They also offer community-needed facilities to visitors and train and empower rural communities through collaboration with relevant agencies and academics in Semarang. Researchers at Kandri Tourism Village came to the conclusion that CBT was key to the success of their project in creating a tourist destination that showcases rural Indonesia's stunning natural beauty alongside local knowledge and Javanese customs. Pokdarwis Suko Makmur plays a pivotal role in the development of this tourist hamlet, which is in turn based on CBT principles that include the government, the community, and the locals.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 International Conference On Research And Development (ICORAD) https://publikasi-adpiindonesia.id/icorad/index.php/home/article/view/348 The Effect of Household Financial Management on Economic Stability (Empirical Study of Water Guava Farmers in Demak) 2025-07-11T16:11:18+07:00 Ulfa Setia Amanda ulfasetia79@gmail.com Ratih Pratiwi ulfasetia79@gmail.com
Maintaining family economic stability, especially in the agriculture industry, depends heavily on household financial management. Conflict within any organization, including student organizations, is an inevitable dynamic. Therefore, the ability to manage conflict becomes crucial in maintaining stability and work effectiveness. Using a qualitative approach, this study seeks to understand the perceptions, experiences, and interpretations of BEM FEB members regarding how implemented conflict management strategies affect their motivation, productivity, and quality of work results. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the chairman and executive board members of BEM FEB, former members (demisioner), and representatives from student affairs. The research findings indicate that effective conflict management, through open communication, mediation, and a collaborative approach, significantly contributes to an increase in member performance. Conversely, inappropriate conflict handling can decrease morale, create tension, and hinder the achievement of organizational goals. This finding provides a comprehensive understanding of the importance of conflict management competency for leaders of student organizations in creating a conducive and productive work environment.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 International Conference On Research And Development (ICORAD) https://publikasi-adpiindonesia.id/icorad/index.php/home/article/view/367 Utilization of Coleus scutellarioides Leaf Extract as an Antimicrobial Active Ingredient in the Production of Solid Soap from Used Cooking Oil 2025-08-10T10:38:58+07:00 Donna Imelda donnaimeldajayabaya@gmail.com Lubena Lubena donnaimeldajayabaya@gmail.com Ahmad Gunawan donnaimeldajayabaya@gmail.com Muhammad Rizki Kurniawan donnaimeldajayabaya@gmail.com
Soap is the result of a chemical reaction between fatty acids (triglycerides) and alkali, producing soap and glycerol. One of the common sources of triglycerides in our surroundings is used cooking oil. While used cooking oil can be utilized as a raw material for soap production, it has a drawback namely, a high content of free fatty acids. Therefore, an adsorption process is required to reduce the free fatty acid content before the oil can be used in soap making. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of adsorbent concentration specifically using sugarcane bagasse and adsorption duration on the quality of used cooking oil. The variables in this study include the concentration of sugarcane bagasse adsorbent ranging from 0% to 10%, and the duration of the adsorption process from 0 to 96 hours, both aimed at reducing the free fatty acid content in the used oil. Additionally, the study evaluates the effectiveness of Coleus atropurpureus (Jawer Kotok) leaf extract, which has been separated from ethanol solvent using a rotary evaporator, as an antimicrobial agent in soap, with varying concentrations from 0% to 2%. The results indicate that the optimal adsorbent concentration for reducing free fatty acid content is 7%, with an optimal adsorption duration of 72 hours. The optimum concentration of Coleus atropurpureus extract for antimicrobial effectiveness in soap formulation is 2%.
2025-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 International Conference On Research And Development (ICORAD)
