The Creativity of Surabaya Children's Batik Motif from the Modern Batik Studio Surabaya

To explore children's potential, it is necessary to develop visual representations of the motifs used in Surabaya children's batik. Exploring and developing the creativity of children's batik motifs in the digital era is crucial for producing a quality generation today and in the future. The aim of this research is to enhance children's creativity in developing children's batik motifs. Participatory and qualitative methods were used to obtain batik motifs. Analysis of the theory of cultural sustainability and artistic creativity was used to examine the relationship between creativity and the concept of cultural sustainability in research on children's batik motif designs. There are two stages, namely: (1) selecting the batik motif model to be drawn (2) Drawing with batik creating the selected image. The main finding of this research is a model of children's batik motif creativity based on linear, zigzag, and organizational patterns. This model was built based on the analysis of children's drawings and motif patterns on fabrics based on 4 categories: air, land, water, and technology. After going through these stages, the batik motifs were created, namely: 1.Dinosaurs and Technology; 2. Togetherness and Fruits; 3. Artificial Intelligence and Robots; 4. Pond Products and the Terrestrial Environment. The context of children's batik motif creativity has not been widely explored, particularly regarding the models, processes, and meanings based on cultural sustainability. In conclusion, the sustainability of children's batik motif creativity is an urgent need to produce a quality generation in the digital era. This sustainability is crucial for collaboration between Students, Kindergarten Cendekia Nusantara, Studio Batik Modern, and Academics.

Community Service Program on Packaging Design for Student Product Innovation at MAN Sukamara

Packaging design plays an essential role in enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of local products, particularly for students who are encouraged to develop entrepreneurial skills within the educational environment. However, many students and school communities still face limitations in creating innovative and market-oriented packaging designs. This community service program was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Sukamara with the aim of providing training in packaging design for superior products developed by students. The training methods included interactive workshops, demonstrations, and mentoring sessions that combined theoretical knowledge with practical design skills. Participants were introduced to the principles of visual communication, branding, and the use of digital tools to support the creation of attractive and functional packaging. The results show that participants were able to produce creative packaging designs aligned with product characteristics, thereby increasing the commercial value of student products. In addition, the program raised awareness among students and teachers about the importance of design in product marketing and laid the foundation for fostering an entrepreneurial culture within the school. This program demonstrates that packaging design training not only improves technical skills but also contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of local products and empowering students to face real-world business challenges

Digitalization of Internal Quality Audit to Enhance Study Program Accreditation in the Society 5.0 Era

The growing demands for accountability and transparency in higher education have positioned internal quality audit as a strategic instrument to ensure continuous improvement and accreditation readiness. However, conventional audit practices often encounter challenges such as inefficiency, limited data accessibility, and weak integration among stakeholders. This research develops a web-based Internal Quality Audit (IQA) digitalization system using the Waterfall software development model to strengthen study program accreditation within the Society 5.0 framework. The system was implemented at the Diploma III Information Technology Study Program at the Off-Campus Study Program (PSDKU) of Politeknik Negeri Pontianak in Sukamara Regency. Black-Box Testing confirmed that all 30 functional test scenarios operated according to specifications. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted with students, lecturers, and study program administrators yielded an overall acceptance score of 87.2%, with the reliability dimension achieving a perfect score (100%). The findings demonstrate that the digitalization of IQA processes significantly improves audit efficiency, document traceability, and accreditation preparedness at the study program level.
