Tuscan) Microgreens Produces the Best Productivity Metrics and Sensory Attributes https://publikasi-adpiindonesia.id/icorad/index.php/home/article/view/300
As arable lands decrease, the shift to crop production in small spaces elevates. Microgreens is an emerging commodity aligned with this goal to produce more food in vertical spaces. However, crop production and management practices could affect the quality of microgreens based on its agronomic and sensory attributes. Thus, this study evaluated the agronomic productivity and sensory acceptability of kale microgreens as affected by different methods of nutrient solution application. Two trials of a completely randomized design experiment were laid out with the following treatments: control (T1), top and bottom (T2), top (T3), and bottom (T4) nutrient solution application. Initial germination rate for the kale microgreens seedlot averaged 87%. Results revealed the bottom nutrient solution application significantly (p<0.05) produced the best productivity metrics, which included stem length (10.94 cm), and fresh weight (91.35 g). In the consumer acceptability test among 80 randomly-selected respondents, the questionnaire was divided into two groups, namely, overall liking using nine-point hedonic scale and assessing the appropriate level of sensory attributes of the samples using the just-about right (JAR) scale. Hedonic scores revealed the best consumer acceptability towards fresh microgreens with bottom nutrient application method with a score of 7.35 (like moderately). It also gained the highest ratings in specific attributes such as color, glossiness, smoothness, thickness, crispiness, and sweetness with a score of 7.28 (like moderately) for the Hedonic scale. JAR scale also revealed an acceptability score of 3.24 based on color, aroma, taste, bitterness, sweetness, and crispiness. This reflects the nascent nature of microgreens for Filipinos, thus, necessitates microgreens consumer education. Since bottom watering also uses less water compared to conventional agriculture, this study can also contribute to attaining sustainable development goals such as responsible consumption and production, while also achieving zero hunger.
Esmeralda Aguinaldo Baby Lyn De Guzman Arvin Joshua Barlongo Copyright (c) 2025 International Conference On Research And Development (ICORAD) 2025-01-07 2025-01-07 4 1 1 10 10.47841/icorad.v4i1.300 Does Cashless Society Moderate Factors Affecting on MSME Performance in Central Java? https://publikasi-adpiindonesia.id/icorad/index.php/home/article/view/311
This study aims to test whether the cashless society can moderate the effect of fintech payments and e-commerce on the MSMEs performance in Central Java. However, imprudent debt management can lead to financial risks, such as high interest payment burden and dependence on foreign debt, which can threaten macroeconomic stability. This study aims to analyse the effect of public debt on financial risk and macroeconomic balance in Indonesia. The proposed hypothesis states that effective debt management can support economic growth, while sub-optimal management can increase fiscal and macroeconomic risks. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and secondary data analysis from government reports as well as macroeconomic data, this study finds that public debt allocated to productive sectors, such as infrastructure, contributes positively to economic growth. However, dependence on foreign debt increases vulnerability to fluctuations in exchange rates and global interest rates. In addition, debt interest payments, which account for 15 per cent of state expenditure, limit the budget for other sectors, such as education and health. The research emphasises the need for a balance between productive investment and fiscal risk control. Policy reforms focusing on bureaucratic efficiency, financing diversification, and debt management transparency are needed to realise sustainable economic growth and macroeconomic stability.
Muhammad Nur Asfa Eni Puji Estuti Muhammad Rifqi Hidayat Dimas Anggita Abimanyu Copyright (c) 2025 International Conference On Research And Development (ICORAD) 2024-12-27 2024-12-27 4 1 80 84 10.47841/icorad.v4i1.324 The Influence of Financial Factors on Budget Forecast Errors of Regional Governments in Aceh Districts/Cities for The Years 2018-2022 https://publikasi-adpiindonesia.id/icorad/index.php/home/article/view/327
This study examines how Aceh Regency/City Government Budget Forecast Errors are affected by Regional Original Revenue, Balance Fund, Other Legitimate Regional Revenues, Direct Expenditure, and Indirect Expenditure from 2018 to 2022. MSMEs prefer to use social media marketing due to its ability to connect with a large number of potential customers at once, low cost, ease of use, and technical manageability. As a result, social media marketing is quickly gaining popularity among businesses and is now regarded as a critical component in improving performance. Thus, this paper presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of previous research studies on social media as a digital marketing tool for MSMEs. In this work, the research procedure focuses on the subject matters related to social media, digital marketing, and MSMEs, which are selected from digital databases, such as Scopus and Web of Science (WoS). The study selection process entails looking into two factors: i) literature sources, articles, and journal publications published between 2014 and 2024, and ii) the direction of the study of MSMEs in the context of social media marketing tools. The articles were screened and filtered to remove duplicates before reading the full-text articles. The final result included 16 articles that will be used in this study. According to previous findings, most studies used a quantitative approach, the most common research method. The research focuses on the transformative power of technology in HRM through digital ethnography, emphasizing the acceptance of AI, cloud computing, and big data analytics. These technologies streamline recruiting, training, and performance assessments, reducing bias in hiring and boosting efficiency and inclusivity. The results reveal that corporations prioritize inclusivity through employment and training initiatives, meeting the needs of vulnerable populations. The study also stresses the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) themes in HRM because ethical and sustainable organizations have greater employee loyalty and brand reputation. Poor digital literacy and cultural hostility persist, especially in rural areas. Based on that, our results give an SDG-aligned HRM framework that stresses how important it is for companies to embrace technology, inclusion, and ESG to achieve sustainable development in the digital age.

Ivon Arisanti Yossy Dwi Erliana Fitrah Hasri Rosandi Copyright (c) 2025 International Conference On Research And Development (ICORAD) 2025-03-19 2025-03-19 4 1 141 147 10.47841/icorad.v4i1.330 From Craft to Innovation: The Contribution of Sameri Hamlet’s Female Weavers to Sustainable Development Goals in Society 5.0 In Sumbawa https://publikasi-adpiindonesia.id/icorad/index.php/home/article/view/331
This study facilitates the achievement of SDGs in Society 5.0 by transforming traditional weaving skills into economically viable products through empowering women by enhancing the potential role of women weavers in Sameri Hamlet, Sumbawa. This study uses thematic analysis to investigate data obtained from interviews, observations, and document analysis involving six women weavers, three government officials, and one NGO representative. The study shows that innovations in design and diversification of products made and digital marketing increase income streams and expand the client base. Natural dyes and waste reduction measures that support SDG 12 and responsible consumption and production also facilitate progress towards SDG 8 by ensuring decent work and economic growth and stable employment and sustainability. Training courses and community programs have equipped weavers with the ability to respond to market demand while maintaining traditional integrity. As women take on traditionally male-dominated roles and generate primary income, their contribution to achieving gender equality (SDG 5) has been significant. Limited digital literacy, limited market access, and tensions between preserving tradition and modernization characterize the challenges associated with the transition to Society 5.0. The study advocates targeted initiatives, such as digital skills enhancement and policies, to sustainably integrate traditional crafts into larger markets.
