Abstract

Healthy food selection and menu are important. Adequate food intake will have a positive impact. The physique becomes healthier, stronger and more energetic. This condition will affect a person's activities. Including for all female workers, especially female workers. The activities of these workers are quite heavy. Sometimes the tasks are very dense, lack of rest and potluck or choose unhealthy foods. Even though these female workers will later return to the country, they will start a new life, live with a family or become a wife and mother. So the purpose of this PkM program is to provide education about the selection of food menus for female workers in Bandar Baru Bangi, Malaysia. The method of delivering material with lectures and counseling. The results of the Pre Test show that many workers do not understand the selection of nutritious menu. After conducting the Post Test, these female workers have shown an increase in knowledge about healthier foods; organic and inorganic foods; real food and fake food; and providing healthy meals more easily, increasing by up to 100%. While the evaluation assessment shows that all workers assess the arrangement of the event accordingly; useful programs; satisfied with the program; and will follow the same program when held again in the future, all showing an increase of up to 100%. All workers participated in this PkM program with enthusiasm.
