Abstract

Mekar Sari Village is located in Bajubang District, Batang Hari Regency with an area of ​​718.54 Ha. Mekar Sari Village has a diversity of plant types that can be cultivated and have medicinal properties. Herbal drinks are a type of drink that uses natural ingredients and are very beneficial for the body as a supplement drink, one of which is Moringa leaves and is usually packaged in powder form so it is practical to serve. Community service activities aim to (1) Provide information to service participants about herbal drinks and the compound elements found in Moringa leaves (2) Provide training to service participants on how to make herbal drink products from Moringa leaves. The objects of service activities are housewives and young women in Mekar Sari Nes Village. The method used is in the form of counseling and mentoring. The results of 30 participant questionnaires showed that 22 participants really wanted to take part in training in making Moringa leaf drink products that could be used as herbal medicine. The conclusions from this activity are (1) Service participants are familiar with herbal drinks from Moringa leaves but do not yet know about the compound elements contained in Moringa leaves, and (2) Training in making herbal drink products from Moringa leaves is very useful because it can be used as medicine and also business opportunities.
