Abstract

Hydroponics is the right farming solution to be developed today, where environmental conditions are now much different from decades ago. Floating raft system hydroponics is the simplest system of all active hydroponic systems, because the principle is only to place floating plants right on top of the nutrient fluid so that plants will get a regular supply of water and nutrients so that it can facilitate the implementation of maintenance. This community service is to foster a sense of care for the environment by contributing to planting useful plants, fostering innovative attitudes in farming and being able to produce products and services that will benefit human needs. The methods that will be used in the implementation of this program are preparation, socialization, training, mentoring, monitoring, and development. The results of the evaluation during mentoring and monitoring students' learning interest in hydroponics increased because they learned by doing, increased understanding of hydroponics with a floating raft system, success during training until harvest reached the target of reaching 90% and failure 10%, Students are very motivated to continue farming with hydroponics in their respective homes.
