Teru Village is one of the villages on the island of Bangka that wants to create independent waste management. Local micro-organisms (MOL) are one of the products of waste management that can be reused. MOL can be used as fertilizer activator for plant or directly used as fertilizer. This service activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding to the people of Teru Village about the ways and benefits of making MOL, as well as building community creativity related to the potential and management of environmental waste with economic value. The series of activities consist of: (i) promotion of activities, (ii) preparation and making of MOL, (iii) presentation of material and dissemination of pre-test questionnaires, and (iv) evaluation and dissemination of post-test questionnaires. The results of the activity are positive responses and increasing public knowledge and understanding about MOL based on the results of feedback as a form of evaluation of community service activities.
