Increasing Teacher Skills, Media ManagementAbstract
The policy of learning from home during the pandemic has become a difficult decision that all education practitioners must obey. The challenges that arise in online learning include reduced learning time, teachers' difficulty communicating with parents as mentors for students at home, students' difficulty concentrating in learning from home, and students' complaints about the large number of assignments from teachers. Not all teachers are able to use learning media to support learning. As learning managers in this online learning era, teachers must be able to use information and communication technology (ICT) devices in the learning process. This is the purpose of this service, which is to improve teachers' skills in managing TIK-based learning media during the pandemic. The more focused purpose of this service is to analyze the problems of teacher learning media at a certain level, provide guidance to teachers according to their needs in the form of training to improve teacher skills. The methods used in this service are: (1) the service provider provides a survey of the needs of teacher training skills, (2) the action method of mentoring in training according to the needs of teachers, and (3) the supervision method where this method the service provider evaluates the results of teacher understanding in understanding the training material. It is hoped that after this service is implemented, it will be able to solve the existing problems so that it can support the learning process.
